Secondo quanto dichiarato da Greg Zeschuk di BioWare Mass Effect 2 sarà decisamente più difficile del capitolo precedente.

Inoltre il gioco avrà un ambientazione decisamente più oscura.

Il gioco sarà disponibile nel 2010.
